The Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods are located in the Mesa Ridge area of the city of Fountain, Colorado. Fountain was voted the nations “All American City” in 2002. The popular Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods offer spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range. In addition, the Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods are a short five minute commute to I-25 and Gate 20 at Fort Carson Army Post. The neighborhoods offer the conveniences of urban living along with the small town feel that Fountain is known for amongst its’ 24,000 plus residents.

The Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods consist of mainly single family homes built between 2003 and 2007. The homes are primarily 2 story and ranch style homes and most offer basements. The Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods are served by both the Fountain - Fort Carson School District 8 and Widefield School District 3 schools. The elementary schools serving the Cross Creek and Mesa Ridge neighborhoods are Eagleside and Webster, the middle schools are Fountain Middle School, and Janitell Junior High School and the High Schools are Fountain - Fort Carson High School and Mesa Ridge High School.

The Fountain Fort Carson High School offers students several accelerated programs that include partnerships with Colorado State University in Pueblo and the University of Colorado - Denver in which students are eligible to take freshman level college courses at the high school that will transfer over to the participating University.

Also nearby is the nationally acclaimed The Fountain Valley School, a private world class college preparatory high school.
