Divine Redeemer Neighborhood Information

Divine Redeemer
The Divine Redeemer neighborhood is located just East of Downtown Colorado Springs. The area is both historic and desirable. The homes in this neighborhood are located around the Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and the Divine Redeemer Catholic School. This is a charming part of town and is characterized by quaint and beautiful wide tree-lined streets. Homes were built from the 1930’s through the 1950’s. Many were built in the craftsman bungalow style. These homes are unique, have breathtaking views and tons of character! Indicative of the era in which they were built, the homes range from 500 to 3500 square feet. Many have large back yards. It is not unusual to find homes in this area with special features, including hardwood floors, wood burning fireplaces and custom tile work. Tile work in some of the area homes was created by local artisans, including the nationally famous artist Artus Van Briggle, an Arts and Crafts era artist. Many of the homes in the area have built-ins, cove ceilings, awnings, patios, large picture windows and gorgeous mountain views of Pikes Peak and the Colorado Front Range. Located just north of the Olympic Training Center and Memorial Hospital, this is a highly desirable and centrally located community to live in. Residents enjoy the quiet charm of this quaint and historic neighborhood.
