The Heritage neighborhood is located in the city of Fountain, CO and is southwest of Colorado Springs. Fountain was voted the nations “All American City” in 2002. The Heritage neighborhood was developed between 1995 and 2005 and has newer homes, exemplified by modern design concepts and open floor plans. Lush landscaping and breathtaking views of the mountains and Pikes Peak can be found in this popular newer neighborhood. The Heritage neighborhood is conveniently located near I-25, the Powers Corridor, Fort Carson ArmyPost, Peterson Air Force Base and the city of Colorado Springs.

The Heritage neighborhood is served by the Fountain - Fort Carson School District 8 schools. The elementary school for the Heritage neighborhood Mesa Elementary School, the middle school is Fountain Middle School, and the High School is Fountain - Fort Carson High School.

The Fountain Fort Carson High School offers students several accelerated programs. They include partnerships with Colorado State University in Pueblo and the University of Colorado – Denver. These programs allow students, when eligible, to take freshman level college courses at their high school. Once completed, the courses will transfer over to the participating University for college credit.
