Security-Widefield, a suburb of Colorado Springs, is located approximately 6 miles southeast of the city. The population is approximately 38,000. The Security - Widefield community is conveniently located just east of Fort Carson Army Post, borders the city of Fountain , and is part of the Fountain Valley community.
