Central Colorado Springs Neighborhoods
The Central / Downtown region of Colorado Springs is energetic and urban as well as being the cultural center of the City of Colorado Springs. Downtown Colorado Springs is the cornerstone of the Pikes Peak region and its rich history. The Central / Downtown area (CEN) is comprised of many neighborhoods, and includes the charming turn of the 20th century Victorian and Craftsman Homes of the Old North End and Patty Jewett neighborhoods.
This region has many cultural attractions including the Fine Arts Center, the Pioneers Museum, the Bemis School of Art, the Colorado College Cornerstone Arts Center, and the Pikes Peak Center. There are hundreds of businesses located in Downtown Colorado Springs ranging from large corporations to an abundance of unique shops and boutiques, from art galleries to the city’s best restaurants and night clubs. Because of its small geographic area, it’s a great place to park and take a walk around to explore and become familiar with the heart of the city.
