Rustic Hills Neighborhood Information

Colorado Springs homes for sale in the Rustic Hills neighborhood are located on the east side of Colorado Springs. This School District 11 subdivision was established in 1960's, and homes were built in the area from the 60's until the early 80's. Homes in this development are primarily bi-levels and tri-levels and even 4 level and some two story homes may be found here due to the long period of development. Given the age of the neighborhood one may easily find mature trees and large sized lots in comparison to many modern new developments. Along with the unique topography in Rustic Hills there are also many walking paths and green space found throughout the development. Given this neighborhood's proximity to Academy Blvd and the Powers Corridor, opportunities for shopping, restaurants, entertainment and activities abound. Bordering Rustic Hills to the north is the Village Seven neighborhood. East of Rustic Hills, you will find the Powers Corridor. To the South is the Eastborough neighborhood. To the West, is Palmer Park and the Citadel Mall.

If your commute time is a concern, Rustic Hills homes may be considered conveniently located to many destinations. It is estimated to be about 20min to Ft Carson, 10-15min to Petersen AFB and the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport, 25min to Schriever AFB, and about the same to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
